Had a fantastic week here. The hot tub is excellent and the views from it incredible. There are great walks through the nature reserve right beside the cottage and an abundance of nature to see all around. Aside from the odd swimmer in the bay (perfect location for an outdoor swim if that's your thing) and dog walker, it's very quiet and peaceful.Clara, the owner, gave us a list of places to visit and to eat which we tried our hardest to work through! Will finish this next time, fingers crossed.Clara and Alex are lovely, very welcoming and extremely helpful. There is everything you need in the house, also with glorious views. In a previous review it said there was not a freezer but there is a small freezer there now.Hopefully we will be back soon, loved it here.

We really enjoyed our 5 days at 17 the Cliff, Collieston. It is right by the harbour and has a lovely view. The sea is really close and the sound of the waves was soothing at night. The beds are very comfortable. There is lots of hot water. The large dining room meant we could invite family round and sit 7 for lunch one day.We will be coming back!Collieston has no shops so you need to go to Ellon or Newburgh for supplies.
