Gardener's Cottage in Montrose is consistently praised for its charm, comfort, and peaceful setting. Guests appreciate the beautiful artwork, cosy furnishings, and extensive gardens. The property's location offers both seclusion and proximity to local amenities, with easy access to walking paths and a beach. The well-equipped cottage and thoughtful touches, such as a welcome pack, contribute to a memorable stay.
Reviewers repeatedly mention the cleanliness of the cottage, with one guest noting it remained as clean on their second visit as it was on their first, indicating meticulous upkeep.
The location is highly regarded for its tranquillity and proximity to Montrose, walking trails, and a beach. The only reason for not scoring a perfect 100 is the lack of explicit mentions of location convenience from all reviewers.
Guests find the cottage cosy and comfortable, with quality furnishings and a homely feel that makes them feel at ease during their stay.
The cottage is celebrated for its well-equipped kitchen, tennis courts, and putting green. The extensive gardens and maintenance of the property are also commended. A slightly less than perfect score is given due to limited explicit mentions of certain facilities.
The presence of a welcome pack is mentioned, reflecting the hosts' thoughtfulness. However, as gifts are not guaranteed for every stay, this score reflects the positive sentiment while acknowledging the variability of this offering.

The Gardeners cottage and hosts Richard and Eileen offer and deliver one of the most friendly and memorable places to stay in the region. I cannot recommend this location highly enough, and look forwards to returning again as soon as possible.
