A fabulous old rustic farmhouse style cottage set surrounded by lovely quiet woodland - excellent for Dogs. some lovely walks near by and a cycle-path as well.close to Edinburgh by car or train from Dunfermline. Easy driving to the Kelpies and the Falkirk Wheel - with a lovely walk along the canal between them. We have already rebooked for another stay later this year.

Our stay in this cottage was something else. From start to finish it was wonderful - the fireplace, the nature around, seeing cows from the bathroom window, enjoying the quiet mornings. The place was extremely cozy and clean, the owner was very responsive and helpful. The place was very well equipped and I highly recommend it if you want a lovely place to stay that is close to nature but still a drive away from Edinburgh.
