Rhunahaorine Cottage is a well-loved property, praised for its spaciousness, modern amenities, and beautiful views. Guests appreciate the cosy living room with a log burner, comfortable beds, and a modern bathroom. The large garden and proximity to beaches and scenic areas like Gigha and Kintyre add to its charm. Despite some comments about road proximity and weather-related issues, the overall sentiment is highly positive, with many guests eager to return.
Guests consistently describe the cottage as clean and immaculate, indicating a high standard of cleanliness maintained at the property.
The location is appreciated for its stunning views and proximity to beaches and ferry ports. Some concerns about road noise and the need for a car are noted, but the scenic value seems to outweigh these points.
Reviewers find the cottage very comfortable, highlighting the quality of the beds and the spaciousness of the rooms. The large, secure garden is also a plus for those with pets.
The property is well-equipped with modern amenities, a great central heating system, and a log burner. However, a mention of the lack of emergency lighting during a power outage suggests a slight deduction for maintenance.
While guests express satisfaction with their stay, there are no specific mentions of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness. Therefore, a score cannot be provided.

We loved our stay at this cottage- much bigger than we expected from the pics - a long hallway runs the length of the cottage - cosy living room with a great log burner and lovely views across the fields to the sea and Gigha not to mention the sunsets Well equipped kitchen and comfy beds and lovely modern bathroom Very short walk along verge ( road pretty quiet) to the lane down to point sands - lovely deserted beach where can walk for miles - fun in the wind/ stormy weather tooWe went on a few trips round the Kintyre area- loved Gigha in particular the north end twin beaches and the boardwalk round the bay at the dark skies theatre.Sadell bay was lovely walk as was Skipness and a lovely wild bay at the gauldrons and also Southend Mull of Kintyre beautiful views out to Ireland and lots of deer Very peaceful area all in all with beautiful coastline and farmland After seeing Campbeltown had very little going on glad we chose this cottage instead of one there as it made a great base to explore the whole area and found Tarbert although smaller, had more to offer. Would definitely stay again - a great cottage

Cottage was warm for our arrival which was much appreciated as we had a very wet and blustery journey up from Yorkshire. View from the windows to open fields and the lovely garden at the back. The bed was really comfortable and we had plenty of storage in the bedroom.Weather not very good to us but the cottage made it a nice stay . Only negative point was the main road it was only a few feet from the front door and windows, and with all the rain there was a small lake outside the front door, windows and gateway and every time a lorry or can passed it gave the windows a wash (it sounded like someone had thrown a very big bucket of water over them). Due to the weather there was a power outage but there was no torch or alternative lighting. But other than this we had a good holiday and would return, (but take a couple of torches). The owner was very concerned when she learned about the power outage and kept in touch by emailOverall a nice and relaxing stay.

This is a very comfortable cottage the double bed is really good. The grounds are very spacious. There is a lovely beach at sands point about half a mile from the house. It is best to take the car as it is a very busy road past the house..There is a gate that can be closed to make the grounds safe for dogs. You can see Gigha from the house if it isn’t raining. We had a lovely holiday despite the rain.
