Impressive house every thing you need shops 4 miles away restaurant saving excellent food 10 minutes away peaceful

The owner was friendly and welcoming; the location was quiet and peaceful. Trees, bushes and flowers gave privacy, a splash of colour and encouraged butterflies and bees. It was 10/15 minutes to local shops, along a main road, but Castle Douglas had an excellent variety of shops with friendly shop keepers.

A warm, cosy property in a great location. From the cottage, we explored Galloway forest and part of the SW300. Cottage is well equipped and the welcome pack was amazing. Highly recommend it.
