Located on the outskirts of Dalbeattie, this cottage offers a warming accommodation for families and friends looking to explore Dumfries and Galloway. Set over two floors, Lapwing Cottage boasts a large open plan living area where everyone can gather and enjoy a good film from the flat screen TV, while the contemporary kitchen houses all the appliances required to rustle up a delicious feast. The ground floor is completed with a double bedroom and family bathroom, which is ideal for those with limited mobility. Upstairs are the remaining two bedrooms, both complete with soft bed linen and one with an en-suite, so you don't have to worry about queues in the morning! Continuing to impress, outside is an enclosed patio with private hot tub, so you can enjoy a relaxing soak under the stars to round off your evening. Dalbeattie boasts a museum, art gallery, park with play area, shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as plenty of outdoor opportunity with forest and coastal walks, mountain biking on the renowned 7stanes routes, golf and fishing. Also known as the Granite Town of South West Scotland, Dalbeattie sits within the Urr Valley on the River Urr and provides access to the picturesque Solway Coast with its miles of beaches and fishing villages. Around Dalbeattie there are plenty of country walks and great opportunities for golfing, fishing and mountain biking, with the famous 7stanes Mountain Bike Trail in Dalbeattie Forest.
