Rocky Knowe is a lovely, spacious, modern bungalow set in a stunning position and enjoying superb views over the gardens to the Urr Estuary. The garden and patio overlook the estuary and Screel Hill. Visitors to this delightful corner of Scotland are amazed at its beauty, temperate climate and relatively few people. We hope you will agree it’s a secret well worth keeping!

We had a lovely stay at Rocky Knowe, the location was lovely and quite. The equipment was enough to make making a meal in easy as we had young children with us. Unfortunately on the last day we had high winds and rain which knocked the electric off on two occasions and rang owner as we thought the electric had tripped but were unable to make contact. The electric did come on so put it down to the weather conditions. It is concerning as it could have been more serious and we tried ringing both numbers about five times each and had no call back call from owner.

The cottage is an amazing location and is deceptively big. It’s a very comfy cottage, with a big well equipped kitchen. Lovely outdoor space with awesome veiws and sunsets. The cottage is a bit old fashioned but thats not something that ever bothers me. We will be definitely be visiting again. The host was quick to respond to any query we had. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
