Our Lodge at Alderneuk was really lovely. Very clean, cozy and well appointed - like a home away from home! We enjoyed family meals, some games (there's a selection in the cupboard), and sitting on the deck enjoying the view, the quiet and the sunset. The kitchen was well equipped - no need to bring your own dishwasher tablets, tea bags or tea towels to this place! The beds were comfy, the bathrooms great and there were plenty of towels. The owner was at the end of the phone, always there to answer queries and quick to call back if we left a message. She kindly left us flowers, Easter chocolate and a bottle of wine in the fridge! The location was excellent for exploring the beaches and hills around, and there's a big Tesco about 10 mins drive away for food. All in all it was a lovely location and we all really enjoyed our time there. Highly recommended.
