Comfortable cottage clean and everything you would want in self catering accommodation. It was a delight to see all the stars from the Comfortable conservatory The outside was charming, we could hear and see many birds and watch the river running. It was quite fast as we had some rain during our 8 day stay. Mr Watts the host was realy nice and nothing was too much trouble for him. We would recommend, and would stay again in this lovely cottage

Burnside is a beautiful holiday place - close to shops and a great starting point to explore southern Scotland. The flat is very well equipped, and Rob happy to supply extras, i.e he loaned my husband a pair of binoculars as he forgot his own.Despite freezing temperatures Burnside was very warm and cosy, the owners Rob and Angie are there if you need them but leave you alone if you don’t - the welcome pack of goodies and wine was very much appreciated - would recommend highly!😻

On arrival the 2 TV's weren't working. After a couple of days this was rectified. I was woken at 4am with water dripping on my head from a leak in the ceiling. The place is cluttered with leaflets, yes they are places to visit. But could of been contained in a folder. Too much personalised stuff around e.g. mountains of Aston Martin magazines. An indoor water feature that was full of algi. On a whole just to much. More like his home than a holiday home.
