This is a beautiful cottage in a stunning location. Total peace and quiet apart from the songs of the swallows and the occasional bleating of sheep.The cottage itself is immaculate, there is everything you could possibly need for your stay. It is spacious, comfortable and just perfect. Eileen and Roy who own the property live next door and are extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful.

If you want to unwind and relax then this is the place for you. Beautiful cottage. with excellent hosts. Dumfries is only about 7 miles away, or Lockerbie 5 miles for your provisions. If you choose you can explore the Solway coast, knowing you have the perfect holiday cottage to return to. I highly recommend Halliday Hill cottage and look forward to returning later this year.

Great location with stunning views. Cottage is very spacious and comfortable. We needed wheelchair access and found the cottage just right. Would definitely recommend the cottage for a lovely holiday.
