This summary has been generated using feedback from guests who have stayed at this property

Faldarroch Farm is a well-received cottage, praised for its cosy atmosphere, underfloor heating, and beautiful, secluded location. Guests appreciate the blend of traditional charm and modern conveniences, including a well-equipped kitchen and EV charger. The surrounding gardens and wildlife add to the tranquil experience, although some guests suggest minor improvements for comfort and maintenance.

Cleanliness

The cottage is consistently described as spotless and very clean, with high-quality furnishings. Only one mention of out-of-date biscuits slightly impacts the otherwise impeccable cleanliness feedback.

Location

The location is highly praised for its quietness, seclusion, and proximity to local attractions. The presence of wildlife and scenic gardens contribute to the positive reviews, with only a few comments on the remote nature potentially affecting accessibility.

Comfort

Comfort is generally well-regarded, with mentions of cosy underfloor heating and comfy beds. However, some guests noted issues with specific pieces of furniture and suggested additional or replacement items to enhance comfort.

Facilities

Facilities are appreciated, especially the kitchen equipment and EV charger. Some maintenance issues like a dripping tap and a partially blocked basin were noted, and the complexity of using some facilities was mentioned, leading to a slightly lower score.

Thoughtfulness

Guests feel welcomed by the thoughtful touches such as welcome packs and flowers, although it's noted that such gifts are subject to change and not guaranteed. The provision of fresh eggs and the presence of friendly donkeys are also mentioned as delightful extras.
