The overall score for this review may seem a bit harsh, but bear with me. The back garden is great and the furniture provided adequate but the chairs desperately need cushions if you're going to enjoy more than a quick 15 minutes. The kitchen equipment is first rate and this room escapes my criticism. The shower is good but oh so needs a shower caddy. The furniture in the living room is adequate but just starting to show it's age.The bed is ok but we used a topper on the mattress and there's a slight slope to each edge. The bed frame is a weird metal that can be uncomfortable.Overall the cottage needs some, dare one say, feminine touches. It's crying out for some decorative features such as large pictures. They would also help dampen the 'echo chamber' effect. This may sound weird because overall we had a great week but this cottage could be so much better with relatively little effort.
