We enjoyed our stay at The Cottage. It was well equipped and comfortable. It is in the centre of the small village and a short walk to the pub and cafe, which were both good for meals. There is a small village store on the outskirts of the village which was useful and we found the Co-Op in Wigtown was well stocked. There are some nice walks from the cottage and if you have transport it is a good base for exploring the surrounding area.

Great spacious cottage with everything you could need. Good communication from the owner before and during the stay, plus a nice welcome pack. There is a good pub and cafe, within easy walking distance of the cottage and lots of interesting places to visit in the Galloway area..
