Guests say

Gigha is a charming, characterful cottage praised for its stunning sea views, peaceful location, and cosy atmosphere. Guests enjoy local walks, beaches, and fresh seafood. The Ship Inn is a highlight for dining. Some mention a small fridge/freezer and dated kitchen, but overall experiences are very positive.

The cottage is consistently described as clean and well-kept, with multiple guests noting its cleanliness, contributing to a comfortable stay.

The location is highly regarded for its beautiful sea views, tranquillity, and proximity to local amenities like the Ship Inn and beaches, making it ideal for relaxation and sightseeing.

Guests find the cottage cosy and well-equipped, contributing to a comfortable stay. However, one mention of a shower with low water pressure suggests a slight deduction in comfort.

Facilities are generally appreciated, especially the inclusion of a telescope. However, comments about a small fridge/freezer and a dated kitchen indicate room for improvement in this area.

The welcome pack, including wine, is mentioned positively, indicating thoughtfulness. However, it should be noted that such gifts are a kind gesture and may not be guaranteed for every stay.

Harbour porpoises, dolphins, seals and otters can all be seen in the area. We absolutely loved the cottage especially the location the welcome pack was a great addition especially the wine 😀, there are great walks from the cottage. We were able to buy lobster straight from the fisherman's boat that came into the harbour as well , Also The Ship Inn in the village was fantastic, I can highly recommend it. Great food and portions were great , The only downside to the cottage however was the fridge/freezer it was for to small for our needs .other than that we had a great week , ☺️
