Thoroughly enjoyed the holiday at Darroch, very comfortable, clean, well equipped. Had little extra's with a lovely welcome basket of biscuits, sweets, crisps and breakfast rolls and treats to for our dog.

Lovely cottage. The owner has thought of everything that you may need. King bed very comfy. Lots of lovely walks on the doorstep. A lovely circular walk around the village by the river, ideal for the dog. Shop in the village caters for most things . 3 big supermarkets in Dumfries. Was unable to park in front of the property but plenty of parking in the road behind in front of the school. Recommend a visit to Ayr, lovely ride along the coast road calling in lots of lovely little villages. Definitely recommend the cottage and the area for a short break.
