Guests are highly satisfied with Invergyle, praising its well-appointed, modern, and clean interiors. The property is appreciated for its comfort and comprehensive facilities, including thoughtful touches like games and a welcome package. Its location in the charming village of Falkland offers easy access to local shops, cafes, and scenic walks, making it an excellent base for exploring Fife and beyond.
The property is consistently described as very clean, with no negative comments on cleanliness, indicating a high standard maintained by the hosts.
The location is generally praised for its beauty and convenience, with easy access to local amenities and scenic walks. However, one mention of road noise suggests it may not be perfect for everyone.
Comfort is highlighted as a strong point, with the property described as super comfortable and well-equipped. A single complaint about the bed when configured as a double slightly lowers the score.
Facilities are well-regarded, with the property supplying everything necessary for a comfortable stay. The presence of games and jigsaws indicates good maintenance and consideration for guest entertainment.
While guests mention a thoughtful welcome package, as gifts are not guaranteed, it is important to note that such amenities may vary and are a bonus rather than an expectation.

Just minutes’ walk you will find the famous Falkland Palace and Gardens, charming, cobbled streets and lanes of this very attractive historical village of Falkland. Also famous for hit television series “Outlander”. Falkland truly is a charming village with a selection of local shops, tea rooms and good food restaurants and pubs. Falkland Estate is also a must visit with 560 hectares of beautiful woodland and natural habitat. Falkland nestles between the two Lomond Hills in the Howe of Fife; It is most well-known for Falkland Palace. This royal dwelling was once the country residence of the Stewart kings and queens as they hunted deer and wild boar in the forests of Fife. Built between 1501 and 1541 by James IV and James V, the palace has some of the most exceptional architecture of its time in Britain. It is also home to one of only two 16th century tennis courts in Britain (the other is at Hampton Court in England).
Falkland is set in the heart of the beautiful Fife countryside surrounded by charming villages and just 30 minutes’ drive from the breath-taking Fife coastline. Fife Zoo is just 10 minutes away and the nearest town of Cupar can be reached in under 20 minutes. Drive along the coast and stop at some of the most picturesque working fishing villages in the area. Looking for more adventure? Then head to the historic town of St Andrews, 40 minutes’ drive where you will find even more shops, cinema, aquariums, the famous St Andrews University and some of the world’s most famous golf courses.

Invergyle is well located within Falkland and is easy to find. The village is not big, but does have a few coffee shops, a small convenience shop and Helen’s bakery serves excellent pies and cakes. Easy to get to the Falkland Estate with lots of different walks. The apartment is very well equipped and everything has been thought of. There was even a selection of games and jigsaws which proved very useful for our granddaughter.Heating worked very well, which was important with the weather. Expect to visit again soon.
