A great hideaway amongst the fields and trees. Great views towards the Firth of Forth. Ideal for landscape painting. www.clasperart.com Karen is a wonderful host and always at hand. We didn’t read the small print despite booking via a dog friendly web site. Extra money to pay for the dog and seasonal heating. We missed the snow and were as warm as toast. Note. It’s an open staircase so keep the dog downstairs.

The cottage was lovely and well equipped. The location was excellent. The owner was very helpful and answered all our questions. One suggestion would be to change the single bed mattresses upstairs as I could feel the springs. Downstairs mattresses were very comfortable and the double bed mattress upstairs was good.

A very well equipped chalet in a superb and quiet location.We would thoroughly recommend staying here if you wish to visit the Trossachs, St. Andrews, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stirling of further north.A car is essential.
