What a treat! The Calving Shed was everything we could want in a holiday cottage: characterful, very comfortable and clean, lovely views, generous welcome treats (great to be able to make a cuppa before unpacking!). The hot tub, the good quality of the furnishings, very helpful host.... The only downside was that we hadn't booked for longer. A delightful, relaxing stay.

We loved our stay at the Calving Shed, so peaceful and the view is just breathtaking. Loved the decor and history of the place. Has a real rustic, cosy feel.

Beautiful little cottage, rustic but great atmosphere. Everything we needed for a relaxing break and welcomed our two dogs. Added bonus of a hot tub which was really welcoming after a long days walking
