As you explore further you’ll discover more glorious beaches and unspoilt countryside, punctuated by pretty towns and villages as well as historic sites. Tain is just 4 miles away, one of the oldest market towns in Scotland and home to the world-famous Glenmorangie whisky distillery. Golfers may want to try its famous links course or, alternatively, Royal Dornoch Golf Club is just 13.5 miles away. Travel further afield to walk up to the Fyrish Monument in Alness (20 miles) and view the beautiful views across Cromarty firth and the mountain of Ben Wyvis.

This welcoming room is perfect for spending relaxed evenings unwinding after days in the fresh Highlands air. Dine at the breakfast bar, where there’s room for four guests on high stools, and admire the painted cabinets and stylish light fittings as you eat. Afterwards, stroll over to the soft seating and snuggle up on the sofa (which can convert into a bed for an additional two guests), enjoying your favourite shows on the Smart TV. When you’re ready to head off for a dreamy night’s sleep, the king-size bedroom continues the theme of soft, tranquil colours and boasts pretty linens as well as a sleek, boutique-hotel-style shower room.
For fresh air and sunshine on your face, morning coffees and peaceful sundowners, you’re welcome to use the sitting-out area to the side of the cottage, which is separate to the owner’s fenced-in garden. There’s a shared driveway to enter the property, and you’ll have the benefit of private parking for one car.
