Guests have enjoyed the stunning views, peacefulness, and wildlife at The Four Oaks Chalet. The property offers a comfortable stay with a well-equipped kitchen and cosy living spaces. The warm welcome from the owner and the occasional thoughtful touches like fresh eggs have been appreciated. While some guests mentioned minor maintenance issues, the overall experience has been positive, with many looking forward to returning.
Most guests found the chalet to be clean and comfortable, with spotless conditions noted by several reviewers. However, a few mentioned areas where cleanliness could be improved, such as dust and hairs in the bathroom, suggesting room for enhancement.
The chalet's location is praised for its majestic views and tranquillity, serving as a perfect base for sightseeing. Some guests found it a bit remote and difficult to locate, but the serene setting by the loch and proximity to Fort William were highly valued.
Guests have reported a comfortable stay with cosy furnishings and a well-equipped kitchen. The beds were comfortable for most, though there were comments about the size of single beds and lounge seating being limited for larger groups.
The chalet is appreciated for its amenities, including a new kitchen and a log burner. However, several reviews mentioned the need for maintenance and updates, such as non-working extractor fans, lights, and issues with windows and doors, which impacted the score.
While guests have mentioned thoughtful gestures like fresh eggs and milk upon arrival, there are not enough reviews referencing consistent thoughtful touches to accurately score this category. It should be noted that such gifts, while appreciated, are not guaranteed.

The Chalet was really very good, spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. The scenery was stunning. The welcome from Timber the Cat was an extra bonus. We highly recommend this place for a beautiful, relaxing stay.

Stunning view. Possibly the best in the area. The location location is remote but very peaceful. The lodge was nicely furnished complete with a lovely log burner which was the main reason we chose this lodge and weren't disappointed. Perfect for cosy evenings after a good day sightseeing. Defiantly recommended.
