Superior detached bungalow (far left in photograph) one of two very attractive houses, well furnished and equipped and set only 200 yards from the shoreline of Loch Linnhe. Wonderful position overlooking the loch and Glencoe mountains with pleasant walks on the shore or ramble on the adjacent private hillside. Sitting 8 miles south of Fort William, it is an ideal holiday base for touring in all directions. Good eating places within walking distance. Fish, sail or surf (bring own equipment). Large patio doors to appreciate the view. Shop and pub ¼ mile.

Great holiday at Duart Cottage. Friendly hosts. Perfect location for exploring the highlands (Glencoe, Fort William, Glenfinnan and more) in the car and by foot. I am already missing the morning dog walks down to the loch edge, was fantastic having that view everyday. Cottage had everything we needed for our weeks stay, the only minor thing was that we found the bed a little hard. Wonderful, would definatly book again

Had a wonderful week's holiday. The cottage is located in a great place, close to Glencoe and Fort William. Our host was really helpful and understanding, particularly when I temporarily lost the key! Beautiful, constantly changing views of the mountains from the patio/lounge with access to the loch from the field. The only thing to be aware of is that there is no enclosed outside space dedicated to the cottage so, if you have a dog, taking a tie-out cable might be useful.

Fantasic views of Loch Leven and to Glen Coe. Lovely walk to the shore along the flower meadow in July. Cottage had everthing needed for a great week.
