Guests say

Sonas Cottage in Fort William is highly praised for its cleanliness, peaceful location, and thoughtful touches like homemade shortbread and Prosecco. Guests appreciate the modern amenities, comfortable accommodation, and friendly hosts. While most find it a perfect base for exploring the Highlands, a few noted the bed's comfort could be improved for taller individuals.

Guests consistently mention the cottage's spotless condition upon arrival, indicating a high standard of cleanliness.

The cottage's location is celebrated for its tranquillity, stunning views of Ben Nevis, and proximity to Fort William and Glen Coe, making it an ideal base for sightseeing and walking.

While many guests find the accommodation comfortable and roomy, there are remarks about the bed being too short for taller guests and the mattress being uncomfortable, which slightly lowers the comfort score.

The property is well-equipped with modern facilities like an induction hob and a large shower. However, the mention of standard IKEA furniture suggests room for improvement in terms of quality.

Many guests express gratitude for the thoughtful welcome gifts, although it's important to note that such personal touches, while common, are not guaranteed.

The cottage is situated in a lovely quiet location. The Gondolas are only a few minutes drive away and are a definite for a visit.Unfortunately we were there out of season for the steam trains but you can still take a train over the famous Glenfinnan Viaduct.

Sonas is a lovely cottage in a great location. We enjoyed our Christmas in very peaceful place. There are plenty of great walks in the surrounding area. Outstanding views in a location which is within easy reach of Fort William and all it has to offer. We would definitely like to return here and would highly recommend Sonas to others.
