Drumnadrochit offers visitors exhibitions, cruises, pleasant walking, pubs restaurants with pony trekking and golf nearby. Castle Urquhart lies two miles away, Inverness 12 miles. Burns Cottage is an ideal touring base for more adventurous walking in Glen Affric, castles, historic villages and wildlife watching including dolphins at Moray. Shop 870 yards, a good food pub is 200 yards with more pubs, restaurants and shops a short walk.. 1 step to entrance.

We had a lovely time in Burns cottage..it was spotlessly clean and fully equipped with anything we could have needed. It was an easy walk into the centre of Drumnadrochit and we did some local walks too. We will definitely stay again 😊

Felix and his wife run a good local cottage within walking distance of the village centre which has shops selling decent gifts and great cheesecakes at the Deli. The kitchen in the cottage was well equipped and all the utilities worked in the way you would expect them to. The corner bath had jets coming out of the sides and once you got to grip with how they worked, it was fine. Felix even left a little whisky god guests which is a nice touch. The one negative was the Wi-Fi which was poor
