Just back after a 2 week stay at Drumval (The Big Hoose), it is a large spacious house with panoramic outstanding scenic views in both directions of the Kyle of Sutherland. Excellent laundry facilities, large well equipped kitchen and dining area, huge bath room and a further two additional wc and shower rooms, hot tub on the decking, secure large garden for dogs and 2 smart TV's one in the lounge and one in the games room. Nearest supermarkets are in Tain about a 40 minute drive (Asda, Tesco and Lidle) spotted Asda and Tesco doing deliveries so if you plan ahead you can get a delivery to Drumval on your arrival date and save you the trek to Tain. Dornoch, Dingwall and Ullapool are all within reach, again about a 40min to 1 hour drive away. The owners Scott and Carrie are fab and just a phone call away if you need any problems with the house sorting. I would recommend this house to friends and family.

This was a family holiday of 5 adults and one dog.The house is clean and very comfortable with everything we required. It was extremely spacious with places to watch TV, play pool, sit quietly with a book or look at the beautiful view. The kitchen equipment was very good for making full Scottish breakfast each day. With the house having 3 bathrooms, it was perfect for 2 couples and one single person. We used the Lairg hotel and chip shop a number of times for evening meals. Plus ate out further afield when not close to base. This was an ideal place to stay for touring the area and enjoying the magnificent scenery which Scotland has to offer.
