The hosts were exceptionally accommodating with regards to the storage of our bikes and the welcome gift pack was a kind touch. Our only gripe was that the additional facilities such as the sauna and laundry incurred an additional cost which would have been good to know in advance or be included in the original costings. Other than that, we had a really lovely visit and would definitely return again.

The facilities within the cottage; heating, log fire, hot water, kitchen facilities etc were already setup for us so we had nothing to do but just unpack and start exploring the countryside. It was clear the cottage(s) are kept to a very high standard of cleanliness between guests - even allowing that dogs are allowed. A couple of times we needed extra fire logs but this was sorted within minutes by Adam. All in all we had a very welcome break here and would thoroughly recommend to anyone. Adam and Leanne are always around and on hand in case there are any issues which - to be honest - we didn't have. Highland Cottages generally is a great jumping off point to explore the Highlands and their close proximity to the A9 is actually an advantage if you want to go further afield than the local walks (a stone marking the centre of Scotland is within easy walking distance). The surroundings are stunning enough that you could even stay the whole day around the cottage and just enjoy the views.

Cannot fault the premises nor the attentiveness of the owners. First class!
