We had a great week in Squirrel View. We normally book quite remote cottages, so wasn't sure if being in a village would be for us, but we loved it. Very clean, cosy cottage, with everything we needed, and the village itself was lovely and friendly. We were able to visit some attractions that we've wanted to visit for a long time because of the excellent location, including the Highland Wildlife Park Highland Folk Museum, Ruthven Barracks and the Cairngorm Railway. Excellent location for walking.

Squirrel View was a wonderful retreat in an idyllic location. The property was well thought out with lots of personal touches and spotlessly clean, the bed was super comfy and the shower was 10/10. Absolutely loved the wood burner, we only got to use it once as the weather was so good but it made the accommodation very warm and cosy. The garden area was a lovely space which attracted local wildlife and was a perfect spot for enjoying a glass of wine in the evening. Honestly one of the nicest places we have stayed in.

We have been visiting for some years now. Squirrel View is a lovely, cosy retreat. The cabin is always spotless and the welcome pack a real treat after a long drive. Our hosts are very friendly and always on hand if needed. There was a different TV set up this time and we did find that difficult to navigate. Overall a wonderful holiday, as always. Looking forward to next year.
