Guests say

Sheaf Dale is a charming cottage praised for its beautiful views, peaceful location, and welcoming touches like tea, coffee, and shortbread. Guests enjoy the hot tub and the property's proximity to the beach and local amenities. While some guests found the cottage to be a comfortable and clean retreat, others noted issues with bed comfort, dated furnishings, and cleanliness in certain areas.

Cleanliness received mixed reviews. Some guests found the cottage very clean, while others reported the need for a deeper clean in the bathroom and issues with mice droppings. The presence of cleaning supplies was also noted as insufficient by one guest.

The location is highly praised for its beauty, proximity to the beach, and local amenities. The peaceful and scenic surroundings contribute to a positive experience for most guests.

Comfort had varied feedback. Some guests mentioned comfortable beds and a relaxing environment, while others found the beds uncomfortable and the cottage cold. The main room chairs were also noted as slightly uncomfortable after a full day.

Facilities like the hot tub were appreciated, but some guests had concerns about maintenance and the distance from the cottage. The kitchen was well-equipped, but there were comments about the need for better cleaning equipment and dated soft furnishings.

The thoughtful gestures of providing tea, coffee, milk, and shortbread were well-received by guests. However, it should be noted that such gifts, while appreciated, are not guaranteed for every stay.

We found the cottage very cold and unwelcoming. Beds were uncomfortable. Bed linen was far below standard ( duvets needed to be of a warmer weight)Hot tub was good but to far away from the cotrage to use comfortably.location was very good. Left early due to the house being so cold.Sorry for the grumble but expected much more
