A really cosy, clean and well equipped lodge. Overall, I'd say comfort and value for money was very good; I'd certainly be happy to return and would recommend this option.

The chalet itself was in a quiet location, with shopping, places to eat etc. locally, very good. However, the Chalet's cleanliness was debatable. Most of the equipment was grubby, the hairdryer, for example, was sticky and covered in hair, the Dyson was full and the dryer was so full of fluff, it was felted.Needless to say, the water tank was full.Luckily, we had a small airfryer with us, so we didn't have to use the cooker. The festoons of cobwebs in every room, even on the walls and the INSIDE of the windows, was a sight to behold.Still, it took our minds off the stained rugs. The icing on the cake was the smashed window, in what was described as a 2 single bedded bedroom, which was in fact a single bed with a pullout mattress underneath....note: no picture of this room in the Chalet description.I could go on but, truly, I can't be bothered. No, I cannot recommend this Chalet.Apparently, I have to give a star, whether I want to or not..Therefore, one star for the sun shining...a lot..
