Spend a beautiful morning strolling along the sandy beach at Seamill (9 miles), where, on a clear day, you can enjoy views of the jagged peaks of the Isle of Arran. To take a closer look, catch the ferry from Ardrossan (10 miles) to explore the island, which is known as “Scotland in Miniature”. Alternatively, tee-off on the championship course at Royal Troon (13 miles), or head into Largs (11 miles) for a day of traditional seaside fun. Further afield, head into Glasgow (25 miles) to browse the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and stroll through the Botanical Gardens.

In the morning, head out onto the deck and sip a coffee while you take in the views towards Ailsa Craig and the Isle of Arran. Private parking is available for two cars.
