Larch Cottage is a cosy, traditional property with rustic charm, nestled in a peaceful village with stunning scenery and wildlife. Guests appreciate the clean, well-equipped space, the log burner, and the garden, which is perfect for dogs. The location offers easy access to local walks, shops, and pubs, with nearby towns within driving distance. While some guests noted areas for improvement, the overall experience is one of relaxation and enjoyment in a beautiful setting.
Most guests found the cottage clean upon arrival, with one report of droppings in the bathroom. The property is generally well-maintained, contributing to a pleasant stay.
The cottage is praised for its great location in a lovely village, with fantastic views and proximity to Pitlochry. It offers direct access to local walks and is close to amenities, making it an ideal base for exploring.
Guests describe the main bedroom as comfy and cosy, with ample storage. The second bedroom is snug, suitable for children or one adult, and the living spaces provide a warm atmosphere, especially with the log burner.
The cottage is equipped for self-catering, with sufficient logs for the wood burner. However, some guests felt the living room had a 'make under' compared to the website photos, and there was a mention of needing new pillows.
Guests were pleasantly surprised by the provision of soap, washing up liquid, and logs for the burner, indicating a thoughtful touch by the hosts. However, it's noted that such gifts are a kind gesture and may not be guaranteed.

Lovely quaint cottage, which unfortunately didn't match the photos of the living room, which looked lovely on the website. Feel the room has a make "under" and now looks a bit dingy I am afraid to say. The house was clean on arrival and we were supplied with soap, washing up liquid etc , although we had brought our own it was a nice touch . We wanted traditional so the rest of the house was great. Needs new pillows on the double bed , but room was comfy and cozy. My 40 year old son loved the snug of a second bedroom. The log burner in the living room was great after a day out and we were well supplied with logs etc. Location great about 20 minutes to either Pitlochry or the other way to Blairgowrie. Garden perfect for our dog and for us to enjoy in the nice weather.

I have never stayed in a cottage were the hand basin for the toilet was on the landing at the top of the stairs. Also never know a place to have as many spiders, flys and bugs. The bath room down stairs also had droppings in it. The cottage is in a lovely village with fantastic veiws on the drive into pitlochry. Great location.

We enjoyed our stay at Larch cottage. The surrounding area is quiet and peaceful with direct access to a number of local walks. The cottage was clean, warm and well equipped for self catering. The main bedroom is big with plenty of storage and the second bedroom is fine for a child or one adult.
