Perched above the sparkling waters of the River Isla in beautiful Glenisla, this lodge makes a very comfortable base from which to explore the lovely surrounding area. Enjoying a peaceful setting with no near neighbours, it lies 2 miles from an adventure centre offering outdoor pursuits and cycle hire. Excellent hill walking, cycling and riding can be enjoyed locally as well as loch fishing (by arrangement), whilst Alyth, 11 miles, has shops and three golf courses. Shop and pub 10 miles.
The water is from a spring, well or borehole, and not a mains supply.

This is one of the most lovely places we have ever stayed! Beautiful surroundings, so peaceful and quiet. Deer, red kites, buzzards and so many different garden birds, all right outside the door. There's a lovely hotel/pub half a mile down the road that serves amazing food and the locals are really welcoming and friendly. Beautiful walks from the door and lots of places within a short drive to visit. We're already looking at planning our next trip here.

Well equipped cottage with a nice big garden, which was perfect for the kids running around. Incredibly peaceful and quiet with no immediate neighbours, but only a short walk down to the village or a drive to Kirriemuir or Alyth for shops. Couldn't really ask for more.
