Although feeling remote, the cottage is in fact only a short drive to the little village of Meigle with shop, hotel and cafés serving good seasonal food. Just a 20 minute drive from the Angus Glens, there is a wealth of things to see and do in this beautiful part of Scotland – breathtaking walks, Kinpurney Hill with its prominent Iron Age tower is a good one and can be seen from the cottage, riding , fishing, plenty of golf, and skiing in winter. A short drive from Glamis Castle, the Fair City of Perth, Dundee and within an easy drive of the lovely beaches which stretch out along the East Coast, this is your ideal cottage whatever the time of year. Myreside cottage is a lovely wee cosy cottage and very comfortable. The garden was good for the dogs as it was totally fenced in and so they were safe. We liked how the Cottage was on its own so we got the privacy we wanted and it had lovely views. We appreciated the eggs, milk, shortbread and wild flowers. Everything we needed was there. If i had to find any negatives the only thing id say and it is not a big thing at all but I'd have liked a blind on the kitchen window when it was dark.😃 We would love to come back to the Cottage and really enjoyed our time there.

Lovely cottage in a peaceful location. Enjoyed lots of great walks in the surrounding area and the enclosed garden was a wee suntrap. Myreside cottage had everything we needed for a relaxing break with our dog. Thank you so much Sorcha.
