Recently refurbished in 2022, the stylish interior offers real comfort with all modern conveniences and the southfacing patio at the back is a proper suntrap in the afternoons – the ideal setting for a convivial barbeque or sitting with a book and a drink.
Although feeling remote, the cottage is in fact only a short drive to the little village of Meigle with shop, hotel and cafés serving good seasonal food. Just a 20 minute drive from the Angus Glens, there is a wealth of things to see and do in this beautiful part of Scotland – breathtaking walks, Kinpurney Hill with its prominent Iron Age tower is a good one and can be seen from the cottage, riding , fishing, plenty of golf, and skiing in winter. A short drive from Glamis Castle, the Fair City of Perth, Dundee and within an easy drive of the lovely beaches which stretch out along the East Coast, this is your ideal cottage whatever the time of year. A lovely quiet place to stay, in beautiful surroundings. Very warm and comfortable, and we had everything we needed. (Only one suggestion - perhaps cooking pans could be upgraded?)

Well equipped cottage that met our needs. Safe enclosed garden ideal for our dogs. Rural location on quiet road but beware there are occasional speeders.Surprisingly good local shop 5 minutes drive away. Would happily return.

Enjoyed our quiet break. Would have preferred a blind in the kitchen. Nice comfy bed.
