Set in the unspoilt heart of Perthshire, Blair Atholl, home of the Blair Horse Trials, boasts a number of amenities including the spectacular Blair Castle (the only castle protected by the last private army in the United Kingdom) and the Atholl Country Life Museum, both well worth visiting. Explore the surrounding Glen Tilt and the nearby town of Pitlochry, which hosts the Festival Theatre and The Enchanted Forest, where you can experience spectacular imagery, music and lighting effects of the forest at night. Visit nearby Killiecrankie, where you can stroll through woodland and experience the wonderful scenery of The Pass and the Soldiers Leap. Amongst the many activities available, are mountain bike trails, white water rafting, walking, climbing, golf, fishing, pony trekking and watersports on nearby Loch Faskally, with bungee jumping also available for the brave! Wee Ben is a very comfortable and well-appointed stay with excellent, attentive hosts and a great location for relaxing. It provides everything necessary for a pleasant visit. We already stayed here twice and are looking to book again for next year.

The Wee Ben is a lovely cabin that was larger inside than we expected. The welcome packs for both our wee dog and for us were lovely touches that really made a difference. How nice to be provided with bread, milk & a bottle of fizz in the fridge! The thoughtful provision of lovely, cosy dressing gowns was a nice surprise too! :-)Everything was lovely and clean and felt cosy.We really enjoyed feeding and watching the many feathered friends in the garden and were lucky enough to see a pheasant one day & hawks flying overhead.Ideally located to enjoy the local amenities & a Spar shop is conveniently just down the road. Close to the train station too which for us was ideal.The owner was very helpful & friendly.Highly recommend staying here.We enjoyed our stay and hope to be back one day!
