Lovely quiet location. May be a little too remote for some. However if you are looking for a relaxing tranquil break you would be hard pressed to find better.There is is plenty of activities if you are prepared to drive some way . We visited Floors Castle in Kelsio, The Tapestry Museum in Galashiels, St. Abbs Harbour, Berwick on Tweed and a boat trip to the Farne Islands.The cottage is well equiped, comfortable beds and an excellent wet room. My wife has limited mobility and it proved an excellent for her needsI would have no hesitation in recommending Little Swinton Garden Cottage to anyone who is looking for a peaceful break.

We’ve just returned from a wee at Little Swinton Garden Cottage & we miss it already. We’re already looking at dates to return next year. From the moment we arrived we felt so relaxed & comfortable. We couldn’t believe all the outside space we had. The dogs had an absolute ball running around. The day after arrival, Rob came to introduce himself & asked if we had everything we needed. He was quick to respond via text with any further questions we had. The cottage was a great base for visiting the Borders & we loved how secluded we were. There’s neighbours next door, but to be honest you wouldn’t know they were there. The adapted shower room was perfect for my disabled brother, this was the selling point for us. We had everything we needed, couldn’t really ask for anything more. I hope we’re able to visit for years to come. It’s a perfect little oasis for a relaxed break in beautiful surroundings.
