In a tranquil setting around a mile from the sleepy hamlet of Lintlaw in the beautiful Scottish Borders nestles this pair of holiday lodges. Immaculately presented throughout, the ambience within each property provides a haven for relaxation. The open plan living space is bright and airy with stylish furnishings. There are two bedrooms and a large shower room. The decked area is an idyllic spot to relax and listen to the rustle of the leaves dancing in the breeze and enjoy the open views that surround these lovely lodges.
There are many attractions nearby to visit. For those who love the great outdoors there is the Duns Castle Nature Reserve, as well as miles of walking routes surrounding the lodge. The lodge is also well placed for access to the borders, Lothian and Northumberland for picturesque scenes of the Scottish countryside.
For Harry Potter fans, take an hour’s drive to Alnwick Castle and explore the famous grounds where some of the famous scenes were filmed for the movies! For anyone interested in history, you have Manderston House with its beautiful gardens along with Duns Castle and Paxton House that are steeped in local Scottish history.
Berwick Station can take you into the heart of Edinburgh in less than an hour; and it’s just over 20 minutes in the car to venture to the coast of Saint Abbs. After a busy day of exploring, Jessica is a perfect base to return to for a cosy stay.

A lovely looking cabin in a secluded location, easy to find with directions from host. Really clean interiors including bathroom and kitchen and bedding. Some pots not really clean in cupboards though and tea towel smelt a little fusty (only 1 provided). Nice space and plenty of pots for cooking, could maybe benefit from more cutlery and bowls (only 4 of each of some things). Easy to access local towns, no amenities close enough to walk to, no footpaths from the property although the road past was very quiet for walking on. No dvd player as advertised in listing, but nice big tv which worked fine. Reclining chairs in living room was a nice bonus. Beds comfy, duvets nice, pillows very hard. Overall a nice stay however I’m not sure I’d return. Host was quick to message details and info when needed, however no physical greeting from anyone during our 4 day stay.

Fantastic little lodge we had a really nice time. There was a morrisons only 20 mins drive away. The kids really enjoyed the lodge too playing the selection of games that was there. Great communication with the owners aswell

The lodge itself was a nice size and well-equipped. The beds were comfortable and overall the lodge felt clean and maintained. The shower was the only disappointment being badly covered in black mould which we ended up cleaning ourselves. Nice touch with books and games. Outdoor furniture may benefit from a little spruce up.
