My experience ended on a very negative note. It felt like we werenât allowed to use any of the facilities, even though they were advertised as part of the stay. The atmosphere was unwelcoming, and I left disappointed. Definitely not worth the money or stress. Sykes cottages also do not deal with problems or a resolution well, would not recommend.

We had an extremely comfortable and relaxing stay. It was also nice to sit out to watch the sheep and birds. We feel that this cottage is perfect if you want to get away from it all.

Might be a bit remote for some people but it's only 15mins into Jedburgh. The owners made us very welcome and it is very private even though it is on a working farm. Really enjoyed our stay and intend to return.
