Just a mile inside the Scottish border, surrounded by magnificent countryside, and 6½ miles from Kelso, the joined villages of Kirk Yetholm and Town Yetholm are at the end of the Pennine Way. Forming part of the owner’s mill house, with its own private patio, it provides a delightful base from which to explore the Borders and Northumberland. Historic Kelso at the confluence of the Tweed and Teviot rivers dates from the 12th century and has an excellent range of shops and restaurants with festivals and activities throughout the year. The Borders is a land of beautiful landscapes offering outstanding facilities for cycling, hill walking, driving, bird watching, fishing, horse riding and golf. Shop ½ mile, pub and restaurant 150 yards.

Absolute gem of a place. We will definitely book again. Everything was spotless. Tucked away in the corner it was lovely and cool in the relentless heat. No shop in the village but there is a community shop in the next village or a Sainsbury's 7 miles away. (That didn't bother us as we have no shop in our village either). There is a hotel with a little bar/restaurant 150m away. We love visiting castles, churches and abbeys and it's ideally located for this. Everything was within an easy hours drive, Alnwick, Bamburgh and Holy Island etc. Located on the end of the Penine Way if you prefer walking. Highly recommend a stay here 😃

Good base to explore a lovely area.Outside seating would have been better if not in the general car parking area.General accommodation was good. Comfy big bed. Excellent shower and bath
