We enjoyed a week here exploring the local area. Lots of local towns to visit and nice places to walk the dog. On street parking was fine and neighbours were friendly. Cottage was clean and had most things we needed. Would suggest adding a pizza tray, pizza cutter, a few smaller bowls/dishes for nibbles and a shot glass for measuring spirits and possibly some kind of in shower caddy for storing shampoo etc. Great to have the washing machine as could go home with all the holiday stuff done. :)Dog enjoyed playing in the garden and wasn’t too bothered by the cat next door. We did hear footsteps from the house above but this wasn’t excessive and didn’t disturb us.Host was really helpful when the hot water stopped working. Came round that day and made sure it was fixed. Thanks for a lovely stay.

What a beautiful apartment! The owners have taken extra care to really provide all the extras and make this apartment super comfortable. We so appreciated our stay there and will choose it again next time we are in the area.

Overall, our stay was satisfactory; however, there were several isues that were disappointing, particularly given the premium price paid for the accommodation. On arrival, we found pet hair on one of the towels and both human and pet hair on the floor, which raised concerns about the standard of cleanlines. The kitchen was also lacking some basic esentials, including a dish rack, a salad bowl, and better-quality knives. The twin bedroom had no wardrobe and the window blind was in poor condition. In the double bedroom, the mattres was extremely soft and may not suit all guests. One significant drawback was that the property was not advertised as being on the ground floor. As a result, we could clearly hear every footstep from the apartment above due to noisy floorboards. There was also DIY work taking place from early in the morning. While the apartment has some positive features, the isues above detracted from overall experience that we expected for the price paid.
