In a beautiful rural setting and in the heart of the stunning Isle of Anglesey, this pretty and extremely spacious, single-storey cottage adjoins the owner’s home on the outskirts of the small village of Carmel. Anglesey is ideal for bird watchers, walkers and cyclists, with 125 miles of coastline to be explored and many golden sandy beaches which are easily accessible. There are golf courses and the stunning mountain scenery of the Snowdonia National Park nearby, where there is something for everyone to be enjoyed. Medieval Beaumaris Castle, Plas Newydd National Trust House and Gardens, and South Stack Lighthouse are all within easy reach. Beach 9 miles. Shop and pub 2 miles, restaurant 8 miles.

Due to a family emergency we were only able to stay one night here, however we already felt like it was home from home. Penrhos Bach is such a lovely cottage, it has absolutely everything you need and more besides. Everything in the cottage is of a very high standard and there are loads of information booklets and ideas for places to go. Anglesey itself was stunning the little we got to see of it and we also loved that even though there were lots of people on the island as it was during school holidays none of the roads were busy. It’s a very tranquil place. Stuart and Annette are such lovely hosts and were also so supportive when we had to suddenly leave.

A fantastic barn conversion done to a very high standard which made our stay even more special. Lovely friendly hosts and everything, and more was provided in the accommodation. Having a sit out area was nice to watch the sunset and access to the host's shared garden for the dogs was a massive plus. We will definitely book again and its in a very good central location to explore Anglesey.
