About this property

Nestled within the welcoming Brynowen Holiday Park in the seaside town of Borth in Mid Wales is Bakers Lodge, a ground-floor lodge with a veranda that looks out to sea and towards the sand dunes of Ynyslas. This property is perfectly placed for a couple or small group wanting to explore the delights of Mid Wales. The property offers ample off-road parking and an enclosed patio and lawn garden with seating, while the veranda enjoys the best of the views, so you can sit out and soak up your surrounding with a morning coffee or a glass of wine at sunset. Step inside the property to discover a luxury welcome pack, thoughtfully supplied by the owner, as well as an open-plan living space with a fully-equipped kitchen, complete with a huge gas Range cooker, where you can create delicious meals to be enjoyed at the dining table, breakfast bar or even on the veranda. In the evenings, enjoy cosying up on the sofa and enjoying your favourite shows on the TV as the electric fire heats up the room. When it's time to catch up on rest, choose from two well-presented bedrooms; a king-size double with fitted wardrobes and Jack and Jill access to a bathroom with bath and shower over, plus a spacious double with walk-in dressing room and an en-suite shower room, where you can begin each new day with a refreshing rinse. Explore your surroundings and head into the centre of Borth, easily reached on foot, where you can find a selection of shops and supermarkets for picking up any essentials, as well as a number of traditional eateries, should you wish to dine out one evening. Borth seafront is just over half a mile's walk away; part of the stunning Ceredigion Heritage Coast, overlooking spectacular Cardigan Bay. The beach is particularly popular with surfers and windsurfers, boasting excellent opportunities for watersports' enthusiasts, while those less adventurous can lay out on the sand and enjoy an afternoon of sunbathing and paddling. Younger guests will appreciate a trip to Borth Wild Animal Kingdom, a charming zoo for rehoused animals, while further afield is Dyfi National Nature Reserve and Osprey Project, a wildlife centre and conservation charity boasting some fantastic walking trails and the chance to see some amazing wildlife. Walkers will relish the opportunity to explore the Cambrian Mountains, as well as the Snowdonia National Park, both of which are within driving distance, while the bustling town of Aberystwyth boasts several wonderful attractions, including steam railway journeys towards Devil's Bridge, where you can enjoy far-reaching views, the National Library of Wales, a literary lover's dream, along with an arts centre and a range of pubs, bars and restaurants. With so many opportunities and picturesque scenery on your doorstep, you will want to return to Bakers Lodge again and again.

The seaside village of Borth overlooks Cardigan Bay, resting on a beautiful stretch of coastal path. At low tide there is three miles of sand stretching to Ynyslas Beach, which boasts incredible sand dunes. The coastline is renowned for watersports facilities, particularly surfing and windsurfing. Borth has a selection of shops, pubs, a golf course, a restaurant and a cinema. Nearby Snowdonia provides amazing walking, hiking and cycling opportunities, while Aberystwyth boasts castle ruins and a cliff top railway.
