Firstly the positives, the bedrooms are lovely large rooms, the location is lovely and the little garden sweet (not dog secure).Sadly negatives, everywhere needs a thorough DEEP clean, carpets shampooed and repainting throughout. The website photos are very old and it's no longer clean and bright. Cushions lack stuffing, sofas are very tired. By far the worst thing was the strange duvet protectors that had a rubber lining. Super heavy and the duvets all slide to the bottom of the protector. I took our duvet out of ours to find a very stained duvet that wasn't nice at all.The kitchen looks large in the photos but isn't really and the frying pan, chopping board and kettle all need replacing. I'm not sure if holiday cottages get checked by the booking agents but I feel this one needs lots of money put back into it to bring it up to usual standards of what I personally expect of a holiday home.
