Rwgan is a charming cottage with character, set in a peaceful and tranquil location. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and the hot tub. The property is undergoing renovations, with some guests noting improvements. The rural setting offers lovely beaches and walks nearby, making it a worthwhile visit for a relaxing stay.
Reviews indicate a mix of experiences regarding cleanliness. Some guests found the property clean and well-presented, while others noted issues with cleanliness, including dirty windows and kitchenware. The presence of bugs and flies on the top floor was also mentioned.
The location is highly praised for its peacefulness and proximity to lovely beaches and footpaths. It is described as tranquil and ideal for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle. The rural setting is appreciated for its privacy and natural beauty.
Guests generally find the cottage comfortable, with a homely feel and comfortable beds. However, some guests experienced issues with dampness and a lack of heating, which affected their comfort during the stay.
The facilities, including the hot tub and log fire, are well-received, but there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as broken guttering and windows needing replacement. The ongoing renovations suggest that facilities are being improved.
While some guests mentioned complimentary wood for the fire, there is insufficient information about consistent thoughtful gestures or gifts to accurately score this category. It should be noted that such amenities are subject to availability and not guaranteed.

Overall not an unpleasant stay. We really enjoyed the area and being within reasonable distance to local amenities meant the house was secluded and very peaceful. Sadly when we arrived we found the property wasn’t particularly clean and we spent time cleaning ourselves to feel comfortable enough to stay. The top floor was unusable due to the sheer amount of bugs and flies, we shut the door and never opened it again. We noticed several safety issues we felt were a concern. The hot tub was lovely to use and a welcome feature. The listing states the garden is secure but we noticed it wasn’t particularly safe or secure for the dogs. Overall this house has fantastic potential but still needs a lot of work, the lack of attention to detail is very evident. As it is now, we can’t say we would stay again.

What a fab property! Idyllic location, very peaceful. Beautiful hot tub. You can see the work already gone into the property, with more to come. Spotlessly clean! We will definitely be returning. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property

What a gem of a place! Lovely bolt hole set in lovely rural location, but close enough to the lovely beach at llangarog to keep our 4 legged friend happy. The property itself is oldy worldy as they say but me and my wife loved this and found everything we needed to get by and more. Many games, books and even musical instruments to tinker about with. Plus the hot tub is huge and loved unwinding in it after some seriously long walks. Many thanks to David for your correspondence leading up to our visit. We will definitely be returning,Andrew and Julia
