We had a wonderful stay! We were greeted with Valentine’s treats which my children devoured instantly! The lodge was extremely comfortable and we were able to cook well each evening due to the equipment provided. We stayed in Feb - so cold and rainy - but the lodge was really warm and we slept well. The on-site facilities are excellent. We used the gym and driving range and the bar is fab (wish we hadn’t taken as much food so we couldn’t have eaten there!). The beach is around 1.5 miles away and a lovely walk to get to. I bet the place is even more amazing in the summer when you could sit out on the decking and see the sunset. The hosts are brilliant. We arrived to rain and struggled to get in but they were on the end of the phone instantly. Same again when when we lost power as we ran too many appliances at once - we were cooking, showering, had heating in and then we out the fire on! We rang and within 10 minutes someone from site came and showed us how to use the outside fuse box. We will definitely be back. Thank you for an amazing stay.
