Fantastic view of the castle from the kitchen window-especially at night. Mumbles High St is nearly all independent shops with butchers, fishmongers, ironmongers etc. The book shop below is marvellous. There are wonderful beaches nearby and Dylan Thomas' birthplace in Swansea is well worth a visit. I'm already planning my next visit.

Great communication from the owners. Useful information in the property and lots of local guides. It was a perfect spot to explore the area.

It's very warm and welcoming. However, it is an old building so it creaks and groans like most old buildings do. It hasn't been refurbished in a while, but I feel this is part of its charm. The sitting room is very bright and you can really relax in its comfort. You are in the heart of The Mumbles, with Oystermouth Castle a very short walk away. Just a note though, thr bar next door has regular music sessions, and it's quite loud til around 11/11.30 pm, so if you have little ones that need a quiet place to get to sleep this may be a challenge. Very good hosts, helpful but definitely not intrusive.
