This 300-year-old two-stall livery has been cleverly converted to a modern cottage that’s ideal for a couple and their pet, situated in a small, quiet village.
Pigsty Cottage is a 300-year-old traditional building that was originally a two-stall livery, that's been converted into a cute little cottage for two with plenty of space for a couple and their pet, and lovely, bright large windows bringing in lots of natural lighting. Enjoy playing with your pet in the large garden, shared with the other two cottages on site - Cob Cottage and Granary Cottage, or put your feet up and settle down on the reclining sofa after a day wondering around the Gower Peninsula, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with it's breathtakingly beautiful beaches with unspoilt views. The small village of Scurlage has a shop and a café up the road, or less than two miles towards the coast in Port Eynon, you'll find a pub, a beach bar, fish and chip shop, a gin distillery and a dog-friendly, blue flag sandy beach that's suitable for watersports.

Mr Frederick Gale
You had a Home from Home feeling, very comfortable. The Hostess was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The cottage is ideally placed to explore the Gower.
Mr Alan Perkins
Wonderful property in a great location - perfect for exploring the beautiful Gower countryside and coast. In addition, the hosts - Simon and Barnu - were very welcoming and friendly!

The score for equipment and comfort is 4 because we did not know that the owner (who was abroad) could have remotely switched on the heating which we needed on some of the cold wet days we experienced during the week - there was no means to dry wet clothes. The score of 5 relating to recommending you is because we did not like being confronted at the final stage of booking with a demand for further payment/deposit against the cost of possible breakages. We have never before come across such a condition and felt unfair pressure so near finalising the booking.
