This romantic retreat for two is set on a working farm, just 3 miles from the seaside resort of Colwyn Bay, with its sandy beach and great range of eateries. You can also enjoy day trips to Conwy and Llandudno (both within 6 miles). The farm is renowned for its shop and on arrival, you’ll be greeted with a delicious welcome pack of fresh produce from the farm.
Enter the stone cottage through the large, arched doorway, and into the cosy lounge/kitchen/diner, which has a fabulous beamed ceiling and is decorated in a country-cottage style. Prepare tasty meals in the handmade kitchen area, to enjoy together around the cute table for two. After dinner, snuggle up on the plump sofa to watch TV. The utility room is shared with guests in the adjoining holiday cottage. Upstairs, a charming double bedroom awaits, with an en-suite shower room. Outside, sip a morning coffee on your patio, or take a stroll around the beautiful shared grounds, which include lawns, a pond, and pretty seating areas.
Colwyn Bay is a traditional seaside resort, with a sandy beach backed by a promenade. The new Porth Eirias development on the seafront has a water sports centre, along with stylish shops and high-end restaurants. The bustling town of Conwy is 6 miles away. History enthusiasts can walk the town walls and visit the medieval castle, along with many other historic buildings, including the smallest house in Britain. For peace and tranquillity, head to Bodnant Garden, where you can wander amongst the stunning floral displays, ponds, terraces, and through the picturesque wooded valley.
