This spacious, detached holiday cottage for two has a pleasant enclosed lawned garden with garden furniture for al fresco dining, and is situated in the village of Betws-Yn-Rhos, just opposite a 16th century inn. Walkers love this area and there are sandy beaches just a few miles away. It makes a great base from which to explore the area, with the Welsh Mountain Zoo at Colwyn Bay, the Victorian seaside resort of Llandudno and historic Conwy with its castle within easy reach, whilst in the other direction the city of Chester makes for a great day out. Shop 30 yards, pub and restaurant 20 yards.

We had a lovely stay at The Stables, the cottage was cosy and very comfortable. The garden was great to let our 2 dogs have some freedom. The village, and scenery were really lovely. Would definitely stay again. Thank you

We were pleasantly surprised at the amount of space in the accommodation. Really big, clean, comfortable, well furnished and laid out. In addition to the patio area outside the kitchen, there's a lovely good-sized garden. Perfect if you have dogs with you. Parking right beside the property is perfect for loading and unloading. Pub across the road served nice beers and is welcoming. The little village store about 100 yards away actually serves the cheapest fuel in the area. Don't waste your time looking for supermarket fuel. Owners really welcoming and on hand at the house opposite if you need anything. Really impressed!

Lovely comfortable, clean cottage we enjoyed our stay. BUT there were a few niggles, high step in& out of shower, needs a grab handle. No hot water in bathroom sink tap & heated towel rail didn’t work. No doggy things, such as water bowl, a few poo bags etc. the garden was secure for the dogs though. 2nd glazed window in bedroom needs a curtain as the lights from house opposite were bright & didn’t get switched off until after midnight. Some Xmas decorations would have been a nice touch, it was our wedding anniversary during our stay.
