Gloriously situated at the end of Bala Lake, this delightful holiday property, next door to the owners’ seasonal coffee shop, has a lovely decked area from which to admire the stunning views across Wales’ largest natural lake. Fishing is available on Bala Lake (or Llyn Tegid to give it its Welsh name) and a licence may be purchased locally. Stroll to the end of the lake and catch a narrow gauge steam train on the Bala Lake Railway, along the lake shore to the pretty village of Llanuwchllyn. The market town of Bala is close by and offers several pubs, restaurants and cafes within walking distance, as well as a nearby leisure centre and shopping facilities. Located in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park, you can take the mountain road over to Lake Vyrnwy, an experience in itself, or the easy route to the beach at Barmouth, just over 25 miles away.

eleri & gareth the host are a lovely couple eleri gave us a warm welcome & explained everything to us there was a lovely welcome pack also cream tea and scones with clotted cream we met gareth later who is also very friendly the cottage itself has everything you need & very warm & cosy we loved the walks by the lake & river with our dog town is a 8 minute walk with all you need the local pubs allow your dog in as well the host run the cafe next door we had a lovely breakfast when leaveing to set us on our way i can not fault the host or the cottage & will be returning in the summer all being well kind regards Marie & Colin from reddish stockport .

We had a fab stay the cottage was lovely very cosy and comfortable. Eleri and Gareth were very friendly and welcoming, the cream tea and welcome box contents were delicious we will definitely stay there again

Just beautiful ! Right next to Llyn Tegid , lovely to wake up to . A cosy cottage , with everything we needed for our stay . Our hosts were available , but not intrusive . We had a lovely lunch in their cafe . Sad to leave , but hope to stay again . Thank you !
