The famed Welsh Mountain Zoo, Eirias Park with its great indoor and outdoor leisure facilities, a number of neighbouring golf courses, and a variety of restaurants and bars in both Old Colwyn and Colwyn Bay are just a few of the nearby attractions. Day visits to Victorian Llandudno, with its good shops, the attractive mediaeval town of Conwy, with its 13th Century castle, Bodnant Gardens, and the breathtaking scenery of Snowdonia and the Isle of Anglesey are all worthwhile.
