Wander around the town of Llangollen and scope out the restaurants and pubs before following the footpath along the River Dee (all within 0.5 miles). Visit the 14th-century Plas Newydd Historic House and Gardens Llangollen (0.5 miles) or the Llangollen Motor Museum (1.5 miles). Put on your hiking boots and walk the Offa’s Dyke Path (3 miles) to World’s End and on your return, dip your feet into the water at Horseshoe Falls (2.5 miles).
